Quote X-Ray
Hand us the quote. We'll read it back to you.
Equipment, scope, what the document never mentions — and, if there are enough comparable quotes on file, where its price sits among them.
1. Paste or upload your proposal
Names and addresses are scrubbed first. See exactly what we see.
2. It gets analyzed
Equipment, scope, omissions, assumptions.
3. We compare real prices
Against real quotes on file, when there are enough.
4. You get clarity and confidence
Know what the document says. Negotiate with facts.
What this is not: an appraisal, an estimate of what your job should cost, or a verdict on your contractor. It compares one document against whatever quotes this site has collected so far. Below 5 comparables it will tell you the sample is too thin and decline to place your price at all — which, on a young dataset, is the normal answer.
It also says nothing about whether the equipment is the right size for your house. For that, the Size Check asks nine questions about the building and works out roughly how much heat it loses.
How your information is handledNames, addresses, phone numbers, ZIPs, and account numbers are scrubbed before the text goes anywhere — including to the AI model. See exactly what we see.
Real proposals have other people's personal information all over them — a name, a home address, a phone number, an account or financing number. None of that is needed to compare prices, so before the text goes anywhere at all — including to the AI model that reads it — it passes through the same scrubbing step shown below.
Automated scrubbing catches emails, phone numbers, street addresses, and account numbers reliably. Names are best-effort: it catches a name sitting in the conventional spots a quote letter puts one — a "Prepared for:" line, a "Dear ___," greeting, a signature — but a name mentioned elsewhere in the body text can slip through, so it's worth a quick scan of what you paste before you submit it.
